Route and Turn Points
The will be an open course, ~130 NM race consisting of five turn points. Race aircraft will be started in a fastest-first
order to avoid passing. Please read the Race Rules before registering. You may find the course as a saved
route on Aeroplanner (EAA Flight Planner) by searching for "2011 Rocket 100 Course Points".
Entry Fee.... $30.00
If you choose to stay over before or after the race, there is a Best Western just across
the street from the airport.

Rooms start around $80. See Who's In for a list of entered racers and if you're coming in
from out of town you can maybe team up with someone and save a few $$ (choose someone in your class so you can whisper how
you're going to trounce them in the race while they sleep - psychological warfare, but all's fair in love and racing!).
Out
of town RVers be sure and check the "RV Hotel" list for the area before you pay good gas money for a room!

Race Rules
A word
about the SARL membership requirement:
As stated all racers must be SARL members, a condition
of the insurance policy.
We recognize, however, that some folks just want to come out for the day or maybe this
is a first time race experience and you don't want to buy into the League (just yet).
For this reason
we have a "provisional membership" which will make you "member for the day".
The provisional membership
will be $10.00 in addition to the race entry fee.
If you choose to use the provisional membership option, register
for the race using the Non-SARL member link . You will be charged at the race along with your race entry fee.
